• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), and account type (candidate or employer).
• Profile data: job title, location, skills, experience, languages, profile photo, introduction video, and CV.
• Employer data: company name, logo, description, and job postings.
• Usage data: applications, saved items, messages sent through the platform, and basic technical information such as device type and approximate location derived from your IP address.

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), on the basis of our legitimate interests (security, product improvement), on the basis of your consent where required (for example when you publish a public video), and to meet legal obligations.

Your public profile and published videos can be seen by employers on Vough and, where you have chosen a public profile, by visitors of the platform. Your CV is shared with an employer when you apply to their job. We never sell your personal data.

We use trusted service providers to operate Vough (hosting, database and storage, email delivery, and AI processing for matching and job description generation). They process data only on our instructions.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, videos, CV, and messages are deleted, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on access-controlled infrastructure with row-level access rules. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and to notify you of any breach affecting you as required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can edit most of your data directly in the app and delete your account from your settings. To exercise any other right, contact us.

Our providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Vough is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.
